"Oh sing to the Lord a new song for he has done marvelous things"

“Oh sing to the Lord <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(A)”>a new song
for he has done <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(B)”>marvelous things
His <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(C)”>right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.

The Lord has <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(D)”>made known his salvation
he has <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(E)”>revealed his righteousness in <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(F)”>the sight of the nations.
He has <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: top;" value="(G)”>remembered his <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: top;" value="(H)”>steadfast love and faithfulness
to the house of Israel.
All <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(I)”>the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth
break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
with the lyre and the <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(M)”>sound of melody!
With <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: top;" value="(N)”>trumpets and the sound of <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: top;" value="(O)”>the horn
make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!

Let the sea roar, and <span class="crossreference" style="font-family: inherit; vertical-align: top;" value="(R)”>all that fills it;
 <span class="crossreference" style="font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(S)”>the world and those who dwell in it!
Let the rivers <span class="crossreference" style="background-color: white; font-family: inherit; vertical-align: top;" value="(T)”>clap their hands;
 let <span class="crossreference" style="font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(U)”>the hills sing for joy together
before the Lord, for he comes
 to <span class="crossreference" style="font-weight: bold; vertical-align: top;" value="(V)”>judge the earth.
He will judge the world with righteousness,
and the peoples with equity.”

{Psalm 98}

Each year, when Thanksgiving roles around, we ask one another: What are you thankful for? Each year I jog though the isles of memories in my head, from the past three-hundred and sixty-five days. What do I give thanks for? Before, I felt like it was copping out to say your family or food or something obvious like that. However, even though being thankful to God is obvious, it’s necessary. He is the source of all the goodness in my life, so he deserves to be praised for it.  So much has happened These past months and I have experienced so much joy and love, I couldn’t possibly remember just one thing. But I know who is responsible for all of it. So I thank Him.

Have a lovely Thanksgiving!
